Iceland : all the destinations in 10 days
A 10 days road trip through the ring road (about 1400 km)!
Here below I elencate all the destinations with a plan that I followed during the first trip in summer 2017 that can be a possible plan for your next trip to Iceland! Those are the "must see" attractions of Iceland, obviously many photos you find here on my website are of places encountered along the road that are not signed on the map, I'm sure that if you face this roadtrip along the ring road you will not be able to resist the temptation to stop every 10 minutess to photograph the wonderful landscape!
Day 1: arrive to the airport and car rental pick up- Blue lagoon-Krisuvik.
Day 2: Thingvellir - Gullfoss - Geysir -Seljalandsfoss-Skógafoss.
Day 3: Crashed airplane - Vík - black sand beach - Dyrholaey.
Day 4: Jökulsárlón - Svartifoss - Diamond beach - Glacial lagoon - Stokksnes.
Day 5-6: Dettifoss - Selfoss - Asbyrgi - Husavik - Myvatn - Godafoss.
Day 7: Mývatn - Akureyri – Varmahlid/Skagafjordu.
Day 8: Varmahlid - Stykkishólmur.
Day 9: Snæfellsnes - Borgarfjörður - Kirkjufell - Reykjavík.
Day 10: Departure from reykjavik.
